We are working with a growing and successful Professional Services company based in the city, and they are looking for an experienced HR Assistant / HR Advisor to join the business ASAP.
 
This role will be predominantly supporting a US client group, and it is essential that candidates have proven knowledge and experience of supporting employees in the United States, understanding US employment laws, US payroll, taxes & benefit processing.
 
The role would be ideal for HR candidates who have either previously worked or lived in the US or have exclusively supported employees based in the US.
 
This is a hybrid working role - 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.
 
Reporting to the HR Manager the role will take responsibility for all HR, Tax, Payroll and Benefits support and administration for 100 employees, whilst also supporting on an ad-hoc basis UK and Group employees (500). This will include:
 
-Working as part of a busy HR team, reporting into the HR Manager and supporting the HR Business Partner
-Acting as the main point of contact for the US client group of 100 employees, which is based across multiple US states, and assisting the wider group of 500 employees when needed
-Support and give advice on US employment law, and support stakeholders with ER cases, giving advice, guidance, and coaching
-Ensure benefit and payroll administration is pro-actively administered using Workday, in line with US laws and guidelines
-Take responsibility for managing offer documentation and the end to end on-boarding processes for new joiners across the group.
-Support on a range of HR queries, HR administration, benefits, and tax queries
-Support across the full employee lifecycle
-Deal with queries on payroll and US tax

For this role it is essential that candidates have proven experience at this level and are confident supporting a US employee client group.
 
This is a varied and hands on role, with lots of scope to take on more responsibility. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be confident working in an autonomous and busy role.
