Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with a National Logistics company who are looking to appoint a Regional HR Advisor (South) to provide expert knowledge and skills in people management and development to influence and support the achievement of business strategy, goals and plans. You will be required to implement and provide advice on policies, procedures and practices and to ensure employees are properly recruited, supported and developed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering an efficient operational HR service by setting high standards of service.
• Providing HR guidance to managers in all aspects of Human Resources.
• Providing pragmatic solutions to issues balancing the needs of the business whilst being consistent with Company policy
• Providing employee relations advice and support to help resolve grievance, disciplinary, absence & performance management issues.
• Providing recruitment guidance to managers, including involvement in all aspects of the recruitment process e.g. placing advertisement, candidate tracking, co-ordinating assessment centres,
• Ensuring Company HR policies are promoted effectively, in particular diversity
• Working with the HR Team to develop and deliver HR initiatives which support our company strategy.
• Providing management information, including absence, diversity, and turnover data to HR Manager as required
• Being pro-active in communicating key HR activities and processes to all mangers and staff, including running briefing and coaching sessions.
• As a key member of the HR team provide support for HR projects as required
• Conduct and manage exit interviews, and report on attrition trends.
• Escalate matters to the HR Manager as required

Person Specification:
• Proven experience in a demanding HR generalist role
• In-depth knowledge of employment law and employee relations
• Able to establish good working relationships and credibility with business managers
• Strong customer and delivery focus; personal drive and commitment to delivery of results
• Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills
• Thorough and logical organisation and planning skills
• Good level of IT skills
• Is able to work well in a team and can adopt effective influencing styles
• Must have experience of working with blue collar workforce
• Flexible approach to travel/early starts etc
