Cameron James Professional Recruitment is working with an Asset Management company who are looking to appoint a HR Administrator for a fixed term of 3 months to provide comprehensive administration support to the HR team, in particular ensuring an effective payroll process, keeping the HR Information system up to date, running/writing reports and other such HR functions as detailed below.

Principle Responsibilities
• Maintain various payroll related spread-sheets each month
• Pull monthly payroll reports and liaise with external payroll provider
• Maintain and update HR system with all employee information (e.g. new starters, leavers, contract changes, elected benefits)
• Be the first point of contact for benefits manager
• Upload new vacancies on the Source and email all staff, including those on maternity leave
• Interview candidates as and when requested
• Prepare offer letters and associated recruitment documentation
• Manage maternity process, e.g. prepare maternity letters, calculate dates for changes in maternity pay
• Take notes at ER related hearings and meetings
• Keep up to date with changes in employment law and ensure policies are maintained in accordance
• Prepare salary review spread-sheets
• Prepare salary review letters / inform payroll
• Monitor and record appraisal forms
• Process Purchase Orders through accounting system
• Collate sickness forms
• Book meeting rooms and manage Group HR Director’s diary as and when requested
• Filing
• Create and/or prepare any HR agendas or other documentation as required for weekly and monthly HR meetings.
• Look to comply with all health and safety, quality and environment legislation and standards
• Carry out additional ad hoc duties as required

Person Specification:
• Previous experience as an administrator for a HR/Payroll system
• Ability to generate data for reports
• Experience of liaising with senior management
• HR administration background
• Customer service-orientated, diplomatic and helpful manner
• Flexible approach
• IT literate
• Results focused
• CIPD desirable
• Good standard of education (i.e. Maths and English)
