Job Information

I am currently recruiting for an experienced HR and Payroll Administrator to join an expanding financial services organisation in London. The ideal candidate will have worked within a similar role and have come from a financial or professional services background. This is an initial 6 month contract, which could be extended.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Arranging interviews
• Liaison with agencies/headhunters
• Ensuring interview feedback is collated and sent to relevant manager.
• Ensuring responses are sent to all speculative applicants.
• Ensuring reference checks are completed (mainly through external checking service)
• Completion of forms and liaison with new joiners before joining re administrative issues
• Organisation of induction programme
• Learning how to work the payroll system. inputting of new joiners and information into the system to be checked by Payroll supervisor
• Administration required for Benefits, helping employees use the system when required.
• Other benefits administration where necessary eg liaison with Pensions providers, childcare account etc.
• Preparation of responses to general requests for information/references etc.
• Preparation of End of probation letters
• Any other administration as required such as arranging coffees/lunches for employees and members of the HR team, helping organise training courses, logging of information onto HR system, occasional project work, helping with checking, assisting with compensation reviews.


KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate calibre with strong oral and written communication skills
• Numerate
• Must have experience of working unsupervised, making decisions, setting own priorities and using initiative.
• Must have a willing, flexible, patient and pro-active nature, be able to think logically and laterally and also have a good eye for detail.
• Experience of handling confidential information and must be able to exercise discretion at all times.
• The ideal candidate will have HR administration experience.
• Experience of working with outsourced payroll systems, ADP would be preferred but not essential.
