Cameron James have been commissioned by a reputable international city based broker to source a placing broker to join a new team.

Our client is looking to appoint a Broker to join their new RI & International risks team, this is a key appointment for our client as the successful candidate will not only responsible for placing a range of international business but be the face of the new division.

On a cultural level the successful candidate must be willing to go the extra mile to help carve out a reputable name in this highly competitive market place that is akin to already impressive reputation of the business in its other trading areas.

The role will involve international travel as part of the brand development and the successful candidate will be expected to maintain key trading relationships.

The ideal candidate will have the following areas of expertise:

* At least 5 years Lloyds broking experience, in which reinsurance is a must.
* Exposure to multi class business, crucially having had experience in international property and Casualty.
* Have solid experience of international business, ideally with business emanating for the Middle East and India.
* Able to quickly adapt to market conditions and be able to work on own inactive.
* Must have hunger to strive for excellence, not only in regards to client management and development but in every aspect the requirements.
* Be willing to go above and beyond expectations.
