My client is a growing SME within the financial services sector and they are looking for an experienced Financial Controller.

Reporting into the CFO the role will be a hands on position, responsible for the finance function and all day to day accounting. Working in a stand-alone position, key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Monthly management accounting and financial reporting
• Statutory accounts and Year-end close
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Cash-flow management and reporting
• Treasury management- dealing with the banks and finance
• KPI reporting, financial performance analysis and reporting
• Operational accounting
• Production of audited accounts and tax returns
• Day to day accounting including purchase and sales ledger, credit control and bank reconciliation

For this role it is essential that candidates are fully qualified- ACCA/ACA/CIMA and have proven experience managing the finance function within a fast paced and dynamic organisation. Working in busy and dynamic environment, it is essential that candidates have strong communication skills and are confident dealing with people across the business. Having FSA knowledge would be beneficial, although is not essential for this role.
