We are working with an established business in the Emersons Green area of Bristol and they are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the business.

Working for this growing SME, you will report direct into the MD and be responsible for the small finance team and all day to day management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include;

•Present monthly financial statements to the Board to include profit and loss accounts, budget, cash flow, variance analysis and commentaries.
•Prepare year-end statutory accounts for company accountants.
•Supervise all aspects of income and expenditure accounting.
•Implement strong internal controls to minimise the risk of fraud and error.
•Undertake detailed reviews of potential clients to evaluate credit-worthiness and financial stability.
•Prepare monthly cost analysis for sales to include a cost of sale overview.
•Keep an accurate record for P11d submissions, Prepare quarterly VAT returns, Liaise with HMRC when necessary
•Pay clients and reconcile key projects, maintain an assets register ,Oversee the collection of Direct Debits and monitor Direct Debit failures, Supervise credit control and outstanding debt.
•Manage staff and duties within the finance department effectively, undertake HR functions for the company where necessary

For this role candidates will have proven experience working in a similar role and be confident managing the finance function for busy SME's.

Ideally candidates will be fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA, although QBE candidates with strong experience will be considered.
