Cameron James Professional Recruitment is working with a retail organisation, based in Surrey, who are looking to appoint a HR & Payroll Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of the HR function by ensuring all practices and procedures are being adhered to. The primary functions of the role are across payroll, HR and health and safety.

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive HR advice to managers and employees on matters of company or HR policy, procedure, and protocol.
• Maintain accurate file-notes and regularly report updates to the company Directors.
• Identify and address any areas of concern relating to HR issues.
• Provide guidance and practical assistance to Line Managers in carrying out performance management tasks, such as Appraisals, Disciplinaries, Grievances, etc.
• Ensure all HR related correspondence is written and completed in a timely manner.
• Oversee Recruitment, On boarding, Induction and Training activity.
• Responsibility for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time in line with agreed deadlines including processing time sheets, salary payments, holiday payment, lieu payments, sickness, RTI filing, P11D, HMRC queries and associated issues.
• Issue payslips

Person Specification:
• Ideally you will have previous HR administration and payroll experience
• The ability to keep to deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• You will require the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels both internally and externally within a busy and demanding work environment
• The ability to organise and prioritise workloads to work to short lead times
• Knowledge of necessary legislation to ensure duties are carried out correctly.
