Job Information

My client, an established firm of IFA’s and Wealth Managers are presently looking to expand their team by recruiting an experienced Paraplanner. The position is suitable for ‘career’ paraplanners rather than senior administration or trainee advisers. The suitable candidate would be bright, technical and organised with the ability to work within our adviser team and produce reports , recommendations and other support material . Ideally already qualified to at least Diploma status, it is essential that you have several years experience in paraplanning and would have worked with pensions, point of retirement products and platforms. A thorough understanding of the compliance issues affecting our industry would also be beneficial, although this is by no means a compliance role.

Qualifications

Ideally will be RDR level 4 diploma qualified.

Experience

Has some experience in researching and writing suitability reports for clients - ESSENTIAL.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a paraplanner.
Good knowledge of point of retirement pensions/investments and protection products.
