Job Information

We are working with a well established 30m TO group of companies and they are looking for an experienced FC / FD to join the business.

Reporting into the Directors the role will be managing the Group Finance function, and will be responsible for all financial controls and accounting, in addition to involvement with strategic, commercial and operational areas of the business.

Key areas of responsibility will include;
•Managing a team of 15 people (across 2 sites)
•Financial reporting and financial planning, including overseeing all aspects of monthly and statutory accounting
•Presentation of the monthly board pack and attending senior management meetings
•Reporting and preparation of the management pack, flash figures, group reporting information and variances
•Working with Directors on business growth and strategic planning
•Improvement and reviewing of financial controls and improvements within the group, cost analysis and savings
•Commercial and operational involvement within the business

For this role candidates must be fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA and have proven experience working within a similar role - Group accounting experience would be desirable.

In addition to having strong technical accounting knowledge, candidates will need to have previous experience in commercial and operation areas of the business, as this role will be working closely with the Directors on future growth and strategic planning. Experience with Acquisitions, Mergers and Due-Diligence would be of interest to the client.

It is essential that candidates are articulate, hold excellent communication skills and are able to build relationships with other managers across the business (non-finance).

There will be some travel between sites, so candidates must be flexible with this.
