Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with a multi-national media company who are looking to appoint a HR Manager. Based in the City, the HR Manager will build a highly performing and motived team and influence business strategy to improve efficiency and quality of work and engage the team to retain talent and develop high achievers that contribute to commercial success.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver operational HR support to the senior management team including resourcing, commercial HR advice, problem resolution and managing change.
• Build strong relationships with managers and staff, offering advice, coaching and support on all aspects of people management.
• Commercial application of all HR policies and procedures, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and maternity.
• Build a strong profile in all business areas; chairing team meetings, taking 121s, initiating learning & knowledge sharing activities.
• Gain a deep understanding and become an ambassador for the business goals and core values.
• Management of the entire recruitment process.
• Management of all HR processes as well as facilitating internal restructure, organisation change and succession planning.
• Recommend opportunities for change to increase efficiency/improve engagement.
• Ensure all company information is communicated effectively.
• Manage the workload of the office manager.

Skills & Experience
• CIPD qualified (or part qualified).
• Experienced generalist with extensive knowledge of employee relations including substantial knowledge of employment law and confidence in commercial application.
• Able to quickly digest and learn the scope of the business.
• Experience of managing people and economic challenges within a SME.
• Demonstrable experience of influencing business strategy.
• Able to manage the expectation of staff with commercial reality.
• Experience of working within creative teams is beneficial.
• Fluent English, Mandarin an advantage.
• Advanced MS office and good IT skills.
• Experience of working in a bi-lingual environment is useful.
