Our client is part of a large International IT Group and they are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing UK subsidiary.

The role will be responsible for developing the UK market and will be specifically focusing on IT sales and solutions into large Blue chip organisations within the following markets;

•Telecoms & Media
•Finance / Banking
•Energy
•Insurance
•Infrastructure
•Transport & Traffic

It will be essential that candidates have previous experience working in one/all of these markets, and has experience of selling a minimum £3m IT solutions packages, as your role will focused on developing and building relationships within these sectors.

It is essential that candidates have previous IT Sales experience and thorough understanding of IT supply, support, service and products.

Working the entire the UK, the role will involve working from the London office and also meeting clients to discuss potential business and develop relationships.

Key duties will include;
•Search for new contracts, being responsible of contractual aspects, its range and obtaining better gross margin figures
•Achieving KPI's and team targets, Up selling and cross selling products, Calling and answering calls from warm leads
•Follow up on business leads and referrals resulting from field activity, and manage a sales pipe line
•Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
•Remain updated on product knowledge and market trends.
•Maintain daily interaction and development of strategic planning and special actions to increase brand awareness and sales volumes.
•Conduct accurate market and competitor analysis and carry out regularly market price studies.
•Make accurate sales/volume forecasts for specific product lines.
•Identify key products for customers and indicate which products might need special pricing to boost volumes.
