Our client is a growing and dynamic business within the Gaming Industry. They are looking for an ACA / CA / ACCA Qualified Group Financial Accountant to join the business.

You would be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller with the accurate and timely preparation of financial and tax information and the financial controls and processes at all UK companies.

• Assist in the preparation of management and statutory accounts for all UK companies, both locally and for Group reporting.
• Ensure transactions are recorded appropriately under UK and other GAAP as applicable.
• Assist in the preparation of information for the external auditors and tax advisors.
• Assist in the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of appropriate financial controls and processes.
• Provide ad hoc financial information and analyses as required.
Skills required:
• Qualified (ACA, CA or ACCA)
• Bright, proactive self-starter with a passion for improving reporting, systems and processes
• Logical thinker with good problem solving abilities. Calm under pressure with prior experience of producing high quality work to deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information in a logical, structured and clear way
• Good team player, who is hard working, organised and efficient
• Excellent Excel skills and experience of using the Agresso accounting system or similar will be advantageous
• Experience with IFRS, SOX, UKGAAP.
