Cameron James are working with a leading Independent Insurance Broker, who are looking to strengthen their already well-established market share with the appointment of a Corporate Account Executive to join the business out of the Sevenoaks branch.
This is an excellent opportunity for a well-established or up and coming sales professional to join a stable yet dynamic broker who are truly look after their staff and offer a working environment second to none.

Role Details

You will be responsible for targeting new corporate development opportunities
You will target all different types of corporate clients, while developing a sales strategy alongside the sales director.
To take ownership of client accounts, resolving inquiries and problems in a timely and efficient manner and maintaining a positive and growing relationship with customers.
Targets to be agreed upon after successful placement, though experience in working in a fast paced high work load environment is key.
You will proactively target new customers from the market by the effective marketing of current products.
To own and effectively manage assigned commercial product promotions and sales campaigns in a compliant manner.
To maintain technical knowledge and customer servicing skills.

Required Experience

At least 5 years` experience as an account executive within an Insurance Broker, of which 3 years must have been in a role dealing with large corporate clients.
Experience working in a fast paced target driven environment, dealing with premium sizes of at least £20k GWP / Fee income of at least £5k.
It is expected that candidates will be experienced Corporate Brokers with good cross class knowledge and competency in dealing with clients ranging from SME through to corporate risks.
Good existing insurer relationships will be a distinct advantage. It is essential that candidates have commercial insurance experience, from a broking background and an understanding/experience of the placements of corporate/commercial risks within the appropriate markets.
The role also requires the ability to work well within a team environment, build relationships and liaise with clients at all levels and sound negotiation and communication skills.
