Job Information

I am currently working with a Media organisation in central London who our looking to appoint a HR Administrator to join their team.

This is a generalist position and the successful candidate must have extensive experience of working as a generalist HR Professional and have experience of “Peoplesoft”

This is an urgent vacancy and therefore the candidate must be able to start immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for collating monthly payroll, using Peoplesoft.
• Send payroll data to benefits provider after completion of monthly payroll.
• Act as the point of contact for employee benefits and liaise with the benefits providers to correlate data.
• Manage the annual flexible benefits window, handling enquiries, coordinating all employee communications, organising presentations.
• Provide excellent HR administration service to the team, delivering accurately and efficiently, within tight deadlines.
• Prepare all offer letters, contracts and starter packs.
• Produce all standard HR documentation including; increase/ promotion, reference, confirmation of start date letters.
• Process all starters and leavers, completing all related joiner and leaver administration.
• Manage the team holiday and sickness record and keep this updated at all times.
• Office management: responsible for the general upkeep of the office, keeping the office tidy, archiving and placing stationary orders when necessary.
• Maintain all personnel files, ensuring all are filed correctly, the contents are in order, name tabs and file covers are replaced where necessary and archiving is carried out on a regular basis.
• Process invoices promptly using SAP.
• Compiling reports including; probation, headcount, ethnicity, starters and leavers, anniversary and any ad hoc reports as required.
• Assist the Recruitment Manager with reporting and booking interviews, as required.
• General administration duties include; filing, scanning, processing season ticket loans, raising purchase orders etc.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience of working a HR Administrator
• Highly organised with strong proven administration skills.
• Willing, helpful and able to work as part of a small team.
• Must be resilient with lots of initiative.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines, with a high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable with a professional attitude.
• Able to work flexibly in a manner that is efficient, effective and demonstrates added value.
• Takes responsibility and accountability for own work.
• IT literate and competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of using Peoplesoft, ADP and SAP.
• Possess a sound knowledge of generalist HR activity and keeps HR skills up to date.
• Understands the need to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
• Good interpersonal skills and good communications skills, both written and verbal.
