My client, based in Leeds City Centre, is looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator to join their extending team. This exciting opportunity is a permanent position and would suit someone who has a willingness to learn. The varied role combines a range of tasks from dealing with incoming payments, some credit control and complying with regulations.

Main duties:
• Producing daily reports and documents
• Processing daily payments
• Submitting payment/collection files to BACS
• Uploading statements on SAP system
• Allocating electronic and cheque payments
• Following late payments
• Monitoring account details
• Preparing bank deposits

Ideal candidate:
• Willing to study the IOC Introduction to Securities and Investment modules
• Proficient using Microsoft Office packages
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of Financial Services industry : desirable
• Experience using SAP : desirable

This role would be best suited to someone who is willing to put the effort in to succeed and is available to start immediately. My client is offering full training and a competitive salary of £16,500 dependent upon experience.
