I am currently recruiting for a fashion organisation, who are looking to appoint a HR Administrator on a fixed term contract.

They are ideally looking for a HR graduate who is looking to develop their career in HR or an experienced HR Administrator who wants to develop their skills in the Fashion Sector.

The organisation is currently in the process of rolling out a new HR System and the successful candidate will be assisting the HR Manager with this project, along with the full remit that a generalist position entails.

The successful candidate must have excellent organisational and time management skills, along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
The contract will be a 6 : 9 Months and the successful candidate must be able to start immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the first point of contact for all HR queries.
• Full responsibility for all departmental administration including but not limited to recruitment & selection, induction, training & development, health & safety, salary reviews, probationary reviews, reward & benefits.
• Co-ordinating recruitment & selection across the Company by assisting with placing job advertisements (internally and externally), arranging interviews and managing assessment centres, liaising with recruitment agencies, holding telephone and face to face interviews, correspondence to all applicants, taking up and tracking references.
• Producing timely correspondence on employee relations issues such as absenteeism, disciplinary and grievance, maternity, paternity, parental, adoption leave, unpaid leave requests and flexible working requests.
• Collating and entering accurate payroll data on a monthly basis.
• Planning the appropriate induction schedules for all new colleagues and conducting induction meetings regarding HR policies, benefits and procedures.
• Managing holiday and absence records across the Company and resulting payroll implications.
• Processing all starter and leaver information across the company by producing offer letters and contract packs, managing probationary reviews and correspondence, maintaining accurate information across several HR databases, recording and reporting all visa related issues, pensions and exit interviews.
• Ensuring the consistent and effective implementation of all people, policies and procedures to ensure the Company is compliant with all relevant legislation.
• Maintaining accurate information on the intranet and Internet sites.
• Full responsibility for the management of manual and computerised HR files.
• Assisting with the implementation of the HR system.
• Any ad-hoc HR administration as and when required, including distributing gift vouchers, birthday cards and gifts for employees.
• Providing essential reports and information to strict deadlines for managers, such as period statistics and absence monitoring.


KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Entry level position, therefore a business degree or similar would be desirable.
• Exceptional administration and organisational skills.
• Effective communication skills : verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Very good level of numeracy.
• Excellent IT skills : including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• High level of confidentiality and diplomacy.
• Enjoys working with people and creating positive relationships.
• Ability to demonstrate a 'right first time' approach towards work with attention to detail as standard.
• Flexible, ‘can do’ attitude.
