Our Client, an award winning, world leading organisation of independent assurance, tax and advisory firms with over 38,500 people, across 120 countries, require an organised, effective person to work as part of the Operations team, providing operational support to the Financial Planning department. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of FCA compliance requirements in order to assist in meeting the Firm's requirements with regard to regulatory requirements and risk management. They will also have experience of giving training, both to groups and individual. They need to be able to work with the minimum supervision.
Duties:
• demonstrates a clear understanding of client expectations and achieving high levels of client service
• maintains client and firm's files in a well presented, accurate and compliant manner
• maintains client information accurately on financial planning software
• able to produce documentation and guidance to a high standard
• researches and analyses data for quality assurance and risk management
• prepares accurate reports and written communication to stakeholders
• is an approachable and respected member of the team who takes a proactive interest in the team's performance
• able to develop and implement a training & development programme for financial planning teams and new joiners
• collate T&C and TCF data for analysis
• attends training courses as identified in order to develop both technical and personal skills
• has a good command of Excel systems
• supports Operations Manager on ad hoc projects
• acts as a point of contact on specific projects for any queries from the business
• has an awareness of the firm's risk management procedure and adheres to this
• demonstrates good technical knowledge to undertake relevant area of work and seeks solutions to technical issues, demonstrating a willingness to understand and recognise the breadth of possible technical issues
• undertakes regular reading in order to keep fully up to date on FCA regulations

Education and Qualifications:
English and Maths GCSE and A Level
Certificate in Financial Planning
Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning desirable
Strong knowledge of T&C and TCF principles
Compliance Qualification desirable but not essential
