My client, based in the Farlington area of Portsmouth, is currently looking for an experienced, permanent Management Accountant to join their growing team. This varied role, combining a range of tasks, provides support and reports into the Finance Manager. This position has been created as the company continues to expand and opportunities for progression are available.

Main duties:
• Managing and supporting the Assistant Accountant
• Managing and overseeing the sales and purchase ledger
• Prepare the monthly management accounts
• Dealing with any accounts queries
• Managing all accounts of 3 sites
• Other ad-hoc account duties

Ideal candidate:
• Previous experience of an accounts assistant/management accountant role
• Proficient in Excel
• Use of Accountancy software (Sage/SAP/Iris)
• Flexible nature
• Ability to influence

There is a competitive salary of up to £25,000 dependent upon experience being offered for this role. My client would consider someone who is ACCA or AAT qualified.
