We are working with a growing motor dealership group and they are recruiting for an experienced Group Accountant / Management Accountant to prepare accounts for 3 of their sites.

The role will involve preparing the management accounts, statutory accounting and monthly management pack for the 3 sites. Overseeing a team of 6 people, the position will be responsible for overseeing all day to day accounting, providing commercial analysis for the directors and supporting the FD by managing the sites and taking financial control.

Candidate must have proven technical accounting experience and ideally have prepared accounts for multiple sites. Reporting into the Finance Director, key duties will include;
•Preparation of accounts for 3 sites (c50m TO), including separate P&L;s, Balance sheet and analysis of accounts
•Responsible for preparing the monthly management pack, including commentary and presentation to Directors
•Budgeting and reporting on variances, including rolling figures, month on month and Year on Year.
•Cash flow forecasting and cash management
•Commercial Analysis on the sites- performance, sales, profitability, costs, stock, depreciation ect
•Oversee all day to day accounting, including account reconciliation, inter-company accounting, ledger control and cash management

For this role candidates must be fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA and have proven experience at this level.

Motor trade experience would be desirable, although is NOT essential for this role - it is more about the experience and qualification.

Candidates will need to hold strong IT skills, with excellent MS Excel and Pinnacle system experience would be beneficial although not essential.

In addition strong communication and management skills are essential, as you will be dealing with people across the business.
