Our client is a responsible developer of new homes and communities. They are also specialists in regeneration and design and build contracting. With this blend of skills, estate regeneration, private and affordable housing and the creation of sustainable communities are a significant feature of our client’s activities. A proportion of this includes commercial property and mixed-use development.

They are now looking to recruit a Material Scheduler reporting into the Associate Buying Director.

The purpose of the Job is to quantify Brickwork, carpentry and sanitary ware materials and present in a format for procurement.

-Measures and schedules materials requirements.
-Assists in preparation of budgets.
-Assists buyers with schedule revision via V.O’s etc.
-Liaises with site staff to equate actual and reasonable site usage.
-Advises senior buyers on construction methods and feasibility if required.
-Attends and advises at design team meetings.

To be successful in this exciting role you will:

-High degree of technical knowledge.
-Insight into principles and practices of quantity surveying.
-Basic information technology skills.
