We are working with a leading UK / European Engineering business and they are recruiting for a Regional Financial Controller for their Middle Eastern subsidiary, based in Dubai.

The role would be responsible for the full finance function of the 12m TO Dubai based subsidiary, reporting into the UK Finance Director and Dubai based management team. The subsidiary covers engineering projects across the whole of the Middle Eastern region and is well respected and growing.

For this role candidates can either be based in the UK and be looking to relocate to Dubai, or already be based in the UAE and be looking for a new role. For candidates looking to relocate, a full relocation package will be offered.

Key duties and responsibilities will include;
•Preparation of monthly management accounting, including commercial analysis and management pack
•Reporting into the UK and European board
•Full month-end accounting and Statutory accounts, including corporation tax records and audit pack
•Cashflow management and cash reporting
•Debt Collection and letter of credit management
•Managing banking relationships and meeting with customers, negotiating on contracts ect
•Budgets and Forecasts, including variance analysis
•Capital Appraisal
•Overseeing the full finance function including ledger control, account reconciliation, credit control, payroll ect
•Management and supervision of 1 member of staff

For this role candidates will ideally be ACA Qualified, although ACCA/CIMA will still be considered. Experience within Engineering would be a distinct advantage although not essential.

Knowledge and experience of the United Arab Emirates culture would be advantageous - but not essential.
