Job Information

My client, based in the Ulverston area, is looking for an Auditor to join their team. The role, within a Chartered Accountants, will combine both reporting upon and conducting audit work. This is a hands on role and needs someone with previous experience to come in and conduct the work in an efficient and professional manner.

Main duties:
- Produce and account/audit working paper file
- Conduct audit work in accordance with the Mercia audit programs
- Product an accounts/audit summary including a list of discussion points
- Achieve a chargeable time percentage of 90% per annum
- Produce draft tax computations when required
- Work within a budget agreed

Ideal candidate:
- 2 years’ experience in an Audit role
- Working knowledge of IRIS and MS Office
- Willingness to attend training
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
