My client is a growing financial services company based in the heart of the city and they are looking for an experienced Accountant.

This newly created role will Report into the Managing Director. The role will be a hands-on position; you will be fully responsible for the finance function and all day to day accounting. Working in a stand-alone position, key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Bringing the Accounts function back in house
• Setting up controls and reporting processes.
• Monthly management accounting and financial reporting
• Statutory accounts and Year-end close
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Cash-flow management and reporting
• Treasury management- dealing with the banks and finance
• KPI reporting, financial performance analysis and reporting
• Operational accounting
• Production of audited accounts and tax returns
• Day to day accounting including purchase and sales ledger, credit control and bank reconciliation

For this role it is essential that candidates are fully qualified- ACCA/ACA/CIMA and have proven experience managing the finance function within a fast paced and dynamic organisation. Working in busy and dynamic environment, it is essential that candidates have strong communication skills and are confident dealing with people across the business. Candidates who have worked previously within financial services and have FSA knowledge would be of particular interest to my client.
