This Leeds based company are looking to recruit a Product Consultant to join their team, travelling the UK (3-4 days travelling with potentially 3-4 overnight stays away from home).

The Product Consultant will offer a consultative approach to providing businesses with HR & Payroll software.

The perfect person will:

• Be willing and able to travel within the UK with overnight stays : (Clean Driving Licence)
• Presentable and confident when meeting new people, and have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Have a history of working in a customer focused environment
• Have good communication skills allowing you to explain clearly how our software works
• Have strong initiative skills, demonstrated in an imaginative approach to creating and delivering training courses, and identifying continuous improvements
• Be able to consult with the customer to clearly understand their requirements and tailor the course accordingly
• Be a self starter with the ability to quickly learn new skills
• Have first class organisational skills

Essential Skills

• Customer focused, lively and confident speaking in front of groups of people
• Experience of processing payroll and dealing with payroll queries
• Up to date knowledge of SSP, SMP and payroll legislation
• Some exposure to BACS payments, Tax, NI, P45’s, P46’s, P60’s and general ledger
• Microsoft Office (Core products Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer etc.)
• Highly PC literate
• Solid communication and written skills
• A desire to learn

Highly Desirable Skills

• Understanding of basic SQL or databases
• Advanced Excel
