I am currently recruiting for an experience Recruitment Advisor to join a busy HR team in the Leisure sector in South East London.

The main purpose of the position will be to provide comprehensive recruitment advice and support to managers, employees and partners/suppliers in line with the organisations policies, procedures and legal requirements to ensure the business recruits the right people, at the right time for the right cost.

The Recruitment Advisor will be responsible for the practical management of the end to end recruitment process for roles on their designated job family and will carry out direct resourcing activities as well as liaise with external agencies in order to fill vacancies.
The role will also support the delivery of the HR Business Plan and HR objectives, through project work as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To lead a small job family team to provide a dedicated and timely end to end recruitment service to fill vacancies for specific roles or business areas /divisions to ensure the business can operate effectively
• To develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with business areas, suppliers, colleagues and key stakeholders, establishing professional credibility and adding value to any recruitment and selection activity
• To lead manage and support recruitment assistants/officers in your team on the end to end processes of recruitment of high volume roles and specialist roles.
• To work with the Employer Brand Manager and Workforce Information Manager to develop workforce plans and design methods and recommendations about successful attraction of candidates both nationally and locally.
• To give advice and support to managers throughout the recruitment and selection process and to support with the training of hiring managers in recruitment and selection processes and activities.
• To ensure that all appointments are made in a professional and legal manner reflecting UK legislation around pre - employment checks including right to work in the UK, criminal record checks and references.
• To carry out regular process reviews to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment activity within your job family.
• To use general advertising media and social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers
• To regularly review recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.
• To assist with pay structure and pay survey reviews for those roles within your job family
• To provide advise to line managers on developing roles and structures within their teams and assist in developing relevant role profiles .
• To prepare and analyse performance reports on the effectiveness of recruitment and selection activity in your job family area and implement continuous improvement.
• To support the ongoing development of recruitment and resourcing across the business.
• To provide recruitment expertise into projects and working groups such as transfers , new launches and facility closures and deployment programmes as required.
• To assist with the development of recruitment and selection activities and projects that increase diversity in the organisation and meet company diversity objectives.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• An HR degree and/or CIPD qualified or part qualified.
• Knowledge of key performance indicators and their application and how they can be used to effect improvement.
• Up to date knowledge of developments in recruitment and Human Resources.
• Knowledge of relevant employment legislation effecting recruitment.
• Evidence of success in working and consulting with a wide range of stakeholders and partners to achieve agreed recruitment objectives.
• Experience of managing recruitment assistants effectively.
• An ability to communicate in a highly effective manner to varied audiences, including providing accurate information to relevant stakeholders.
• Evidence of supporting management to recruit effectively and manage recruitment campaigns effectively
• Experience of working independently and self motivating
• The ability to persuade and influence staff at all levels.
• The ability to produce results to demanding deadlines and work on a number of key issues simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent MS Office skills.
• The capability to contribute to the wider strategic development of the organisation, to think analytically and to utilise high level implementation skills.
• Ability to innovate and find creative and practical solutions to complex problems and to exploit new opportunities.
