My client is seeking to appoint a Commercial Financial Controller / Manager, partnering alongside the Managing Directors in providing strategic support at a successful, ambitious and passionate SME business. The Finance Controller / Manager will be responsible for:

• Work in progress.
• Project cost analysis.
• Preparation of the Management and Statutory accounts
• Support all the commercial decision making of the business
• Provide robust management information to Senior Management and Board
• Review the financial reporting process and systems
• Have considerable input into the day to day operations and long term strategy of the business
• Oversee the finance team, dealing with the management reporting and financial controls
• Oversee the budget and long range planning proposals
• Provide input into key decision making around investments and commercial proposals
• Ensure that the company meets its financial and legal responsibilities.

Applicants for this role:
• Must either have proven experience at the similar level within a Construction / building company.
• Will demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Have strong commercial acumen
• ACCA / ACA or CIMA Qualified or QBE.
