I am currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a growing organisation in Luton.

They are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, HR Advisor to work as part of our team of HR Advisors, to provide a high quality of service to our customers and meet the needs of the business.

The candidate will be supporting the HR Business Partner and working closely with the HR specialist functions to develop and implement HR initiatives covering case management, training design and delivery, talent management, succession planning and HR policies and processes.

The successful candidate will have worked in a similar HR position in a generalist role. They will have experience of Employee Relations, Employment law, Policies and Procedures and projects.

This is an urgent need and the ideal candidate will be able to start before Christmas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide advice, support and guidance for line managers on the interpretation of employment legislation and HR practice and manage all related correspondence
• Act as an advisor in the resolution of grievance and disciplinary matters, absence management and performance management and any other employee relations issues; acting as HR representative as and when required
• Design and deliver training courses to meet identified training needs and business requirements
• Assist the Health and Safety Manager in the management of health & safety across the business
• This is a field based role with driving required to developments around the country and offices. The week will be split between days out on developments and working from home as the work demands. Occasional overnight stays will be required.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• CIPD qualified or Similar
• Experience in a generalist HR role managing case load across multiple sites, working to support and coach line managers to handle and resolve complex ER issues.
• Good knowledge and experience of MS Office packages e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint, including creating and formatting documents in these formats
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
• Experience in training design and delivery
• Good presentation skills
• Full driving licence
