Credit Control / Credit Controller / Halifax / Permanent / Salary / £20,000 - £24,000

Our client, an organisation based in Halifax is looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller to join on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Finance Manager and responsible for a large ledger, duties and responsibilities will include:

• To set up customer accounts: checking credit ratings and applying appropriate terms
• Contact customers regularly to ensure all invoices are paid within terms
• Deal with statements (monthly)
• Meet cash & debtor day targets set by the business
• Post payments to accounts and allocate as required
• Account reconciliations as required
• Maintain and accurately record customer details
• Chase overdue monies by telephone, email & letter within agreed time scales
• Deal with all Credit Note requests timely, providing a reason for all credits
• Negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
• Reporting were required

Only candidates with strong, standalone credit control experience will be considered for this vacancy.
