Job Information
My client is currently looking for a purchase ledger clerk to join their team on a permanent basis based in West London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that has seen huge growth in the last 12 months.The company is a very well-known and produces exclusive brands and is looking for someone that can hit the ground running, so previous experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Running the purchase ledger function
Matching, batching and coding invoices
Posting cheques to the ledger
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices
Arranging weekly payment runs and payments on demand
Dealing with company credit cards
Processing credit card limits, monitoring and processing expenses
Ensuring VAT is correct
Dealing with enquiries from suppliers and other departments
Assisting with month end duties
Stock related reports and reconciliations
Reconciling supplier statements
Person Specification:
Good accounts payable experience
Proficient Excel skills
Experience of multi-currency payments
Knowledge of stock purchase invoicing
Strong communication skills
Understanding of basic double-entry book-keeping
Minimum of 7 years experience
Offering competitive rates of pay up to Β£27,000 per annum dependent upon experience with some good company benefits.
