Job Information

My client is currently looking for a purchase ledger clerk to join their team on a permanent basis based in West London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that has seen huge growth in the last 12 months.

The company is a very well-known and produces exclusive brand’s and is looking for someone that can hit the ground running, so previous experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running the purchase ledger function
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Posting cheques to the ledger
• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices
• Arranging weekly payment runs and payments on demand
• Dealing with company credit cards
• Processing credit card limits, monitoring and processing expenses
• Ensuring VAT is correct
• Dealing with enquiries from suppliers and other departments
• Assisting with month end duties
• Stock related reports and reconciliations
• Reconciling supplier statements

Person Specification:

• Good accounts payable experience
• Proficient Excel skills
• Experience of multi-currency payments
• Knowledge of stock purchase invoicing
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of basic double-entry book-keeping
• Minimum of 7 years experience

Offering competitive rates of pay up to Β£27,000 per annum dependent upon experience with some good company benefits.
