Our client a large Independent Insurance Brokerage is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to handle claims from inception through to settlement. Dealing with your own caseload of commercial / corporate lines insurance you will be expected to be proactive in your approach to claims handling and should be able to demonstrate a high standard of technical expertise.

The successful candidate should have around 5 years plus experience of handling liability, commercial property and commercial motor through to settlement ideally within an insurance broker although applications from other backgrounds will be considered. ACII or willingness to attain this is desirable.

Most important is the ability to handle your own caseload of cross class commercial claims through to settlement with limited supervision. You should be enthusiastic, have a good standard of technical knowledge and be able to work on your own initiative.

Working as part of a small team it is essential that you possess good interpersonal skills as you will be expected to assist less experienced members of the team.
