Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with a National Retail Luxury Brand who are looking to add a HR Manager to their existing HR Team. The HR Manager will contribute to the achievement of the overall Company HR strategy by providing professional and commercial generalist operational and strategic HR support, advice and coaching to the Retail teams, Head Office and Distribution teams in order to maximise productivity, performance and profitability.

Responsibilities:
• Be visible across the head office and retail populations building positive working relationships driving an HR partnership promoting positive performance management and influencing managers to improve capability
• Lead by example and line manage Senior HR Advisor and HR Administrator to ensure an exemplary and credible service is offered to the business challenging where necessary
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of a retail premium luxury business by being visible in stores to lead and coach management and staff on HR matters and to recruit and select the best calibre people to work in the right roles
• Approach HR with an open mind and a can do attitude always ensuring the very best possible service is offered to the business
• Work closely with the HR Director to actively contribute to the design and the achievement of the HR strategy through the provision of a robust HR service to the business through the HR team
• Gain a deep understanding of HR and Payroll system and act as custodian of the system.
• Provide sound and commercial employee relations support to the business through the development of the HR team and coach line managers to make effective and justified outcome decisions
• Work closely with the Compensation & Benefits Manager and HR Administrator to provide a seamless HR admin service to the business
• Work closely with the Learning & Development team and Retail to deliver annual learning & development plan
• Work with the Learning and Development Manager to drive the annual performance and development process
• Continually review and update or create HR policies and procedures and work with the HR Director to develop and communicate new policies where necessary
• Work with the Compensation & Benefits Manager to effectively promote all benefits to employees resulting in an engaged workforce and reduced labour turnover
• Undertake annual pay review processes
• Review existing and develop new recruitment methods / tools for retail roles and key roles within Head Office covering social media and online job boards
• Be familiar with and regularly communicate changes to employment legislation to HR team and amend or update HR policies and processes as appropriate
• Proactively take ownership and drive HR projects where appropriate

Person Specification:
• CIPD qualified or equivalent
• Have extensive Human Resources exposure gained through retail/hospitality/ leisure multi-site environment preferably in a fast paced premium environment
• Excellent working knowledge of UK, Irish and European employment law
• Previous line management experience essential
• Demonstrable experience of working in a challenging environment in an owner managed business
• Outstanding commercial awareness of what makes an organisation’s workforce successful in their roles.

• Credible in a retail multi-site environment with a can do, commercial attitude that is demonstrated continually
