Service Desk Engineer / Wakefield / Permanent / Salary / c £22,000

Our client, a prestigious and ambitious organisation based in Wakefield are looking to appoint an experienced Service Desk Engineer to join on a permanent basis.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd line incident resolution on all common platforms (Microsoft, Citrix and any relevant technology)
• Incident management duties
• Hardware incident resolution
• Communicate with the customers directly
• Provide feedback to whoever needs help or information to complete any stage of the repair/service
• Provide company point of contact and liaison with 3rd party vendors where required
• Develop strong effective relationships with external customers.
• Escalate incidents to senior staff in an acceptable time frame
• Equipment installation/moves
• Site audits

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 1 Years Industry Experience
• MCSE or equivalent desirable but not essential
• Citrix CCA, CCAA desirable but not essential
• Experience with core software applications
• Excellent software troubleshooting experience
