Job Information

I am currently recruiting for a Head of HR in West London for a technology based organisation.

The successful candidate will have worked in a similar position ideally within either a Technology or IT business. They will be reporting to the Chief Executive, the Head for HR is responsible for managing the HR function for 600 employees across. This is a hands-on role with both strategic and operational responsibility.There is shared administration support but no direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise managers on employee matters
• Handle disciplinary and grievance issues
• Draft and review employment contracts in line with legislative changes
• Maintain and update HR policies in line with current legislation
• Assist managers as required on any departmental restructuring
• Preparation of Settlement Agreements as necessary
• Handle employee questions relating to HR policies and benefits
• Private health insurance : manage annual renewal, monthly on line updates and employee communication
• Maintain employee benefit documents and ensure effective communication
• Participate in due diligence as required
• Harmonisation of terms and conditions and benefits
• TUPE transfers
• Maintain HR section of the Intranet with up to date information on HR policies, benefits and forms
• Management of Quarterly Achievement Programme
• Provision of management information on employee turnover etc for Chief Executive


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Extensive similar HR Management experience, preferably with experience in the technology sector
• Preferably worked for smaller, entrepreneurial organisations
• Commercially focused, pragmatic approach
• CIPD qualified
• Good communication skills/team player
• Experience of acquisitions/TUPE
