Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with a Global brand who are looking to appoint an Employee Engagement Specialist within their wider HR Team.

The role incorporates both Employee Engagement and Communications Focus across the UK, Ireland and Nordics District. The role does require some travel within the UK specifically to UK centres.

Responsibilities:

• Own and develop all aspects of localised communication including but not exclusive toEmployee stories, Employee events, Employee Recognition and other localised stories that need covering
• Own, manage and communicate the complete Employee Engagement Survey Cycle.Including - Structure, Reporting, Communication, Follow Up, Focus Group Management, Initiative Development and Tracking.
• Own, develop and communicate current community engagement programme for the District. Including local and national grant programmes, Community Involvement Committee and volunteer and financial goals. Develop various employability and Community programmes such as but not exclusive to the UPS Road Code, Princess Trust and Step up to Serve.
• Develop and communicate the existing employee recognition programme working with our provider including reviewing and communicating the existing budget and use of it.
• Continually asses the market place for solutions and offerings that will be advantageous to UPS employees. Including updating existing employee discount programmes.
• Develop Communications and programmes to support the ongoing assessment and experience of recruitment, employee on boarding and retention.
• Assess yearly award programmes available for business such as Community and Employer of Choice. Where applicable develop candidate shortlist for presentation.
• Own and manage all aspects of the annual company-wide events such as Business Managers Meeting.
• Working with the HR Management Team work on or contribute to various HR related projects that cover the full employee cycle.

Person Specification:

• Drive and determination to develop employee engagement across the business
• Ability to work on own initiative

• Excellent communication, motivation and organizational skills
• High level of English grammar
• Have a professional manner, be enthusiastic and flexible (hours, travel etc.)
• Excellent computer skills with in depth knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word & Excel
• Ability to work in a pressured environment
• High attention to detail
• Strong creatively and not afraid to share new ideas
• Drive and eagerness to learn and grow further as an engagement professional
