Working for an established Wealth management IFA in Chelmsford our client requires a Senior Paraplanner to assist the MD.
The primary roles are:
· To write suitability reports for clients of the Managing Director. Reports are often of a technical
nature.
· To attend client meetings along with the Managing Director where necessary.
· To conduct whole of market research via Avelo, FE Analytics, Synaptic Comparator, O&M
Pension Profiler, Sesame etc.
Minimum Level 4 qualified and ideally en route to Chartered status.
· Must have at least two years previous experience of working in a paraplanning role.
· Must have excellent customer-care skills.
· Will need a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and preferably knowledge of
Adviser Office (1st Software), The Exchange, and insurance company online applications.
· Must have an excellent command of English and Maths.
· Must be able to work under own initiative, and to undertake a variety of tasks by prioritising work
effectively.
The salary for this post will be up to £35,000 per annum, to be reviewed after twelve months.
The hours of work will be 9 : 5.30 Monday to Friday each week. Holiday entitlement will initially be 21
days per annum plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days after year 5 of employment
