We are working with a fast growing SME business based in central London and are they are looking for an experienced Financial Controller.
Reporting into the CFO the role will involve managing the finance team and working as part of the management team. A key focus of the role will be to provide financial reporting and analysis, together with managing profitability and growth of the business. Detailed responsibilities include:

Providing support to the Finance Director on operational and financial matters.
Ensuring agreed financial reporting, and management reporting, requirements are met on an accurate, robust and timely basis.
Financial Planning and Analysis.
Championing financial reporting controls and procedures.
Developing solutions to technical accounting issues.
Ensuring that Company is operating with its facilities.
Striving towards implementing best practice for internal controls.
Assisting in developing accounting systems, improving financial information processes, and leveraging efficiencies from technology.
Being fully responsible for financial compliance, reporting and submission of accounts.
Management Accounting, Internal Audits, Bank and Auditor Liaison.
Assisting on transaction work as required.
Ensuring cost control across the Company, and procurement best practice.
Continuous process improvement and developing financial systems and processes.
Candidates must be fully qualified ACCA/ CIMA / ACA and have proven experience working at this level.
MS Excel skills are essential and it would be advantageous to have used Access Dimensions.
Candidates will need to have strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively across the business. Responsible for technical accounting, you will also be involved in commercial and operational aspects of the business.
