Job Information

We are working with an international leading business and they are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join the business.
Working as a senior member of the payroll team and reporting into the Payroll Supervisor, the role will be involved with all aspects of processing and managing the payroll.
Key areas and responsibilities will include;

Pension Auto Enrolment, RTI processing and Reconciliation of the Payroll Reports.
Calculation of overtime, shift pay, location allowance etc
Manual calculation of pay for leavers and new starters.
Updating files with Tax, NI, Bank Account Information etc and directly inputting into the HR Information System.
Dealing with employees over the telephone, answering queries corresponding with HMRC and working to tight deadlines.
Full involvement with the processing of the payroll - c7000 employees
Working knowledge of P11D reporting
Have experience with form P46 (Car)
Understanding of EXPAT processes (would be an advantage)
Overseeing more junior members of the team and dealing with any queries
Managing the team and covering for the Payroll Supervisor when they are out of the office
For this role candidates must have very strong payroll experience and ideally have relevant payroll qualifications.
The ideal candidates will have experience calculating previous year’s Tax & NI, work on their own initiative and have the ability to liaise with Managers at all levels.
