We are working with an international and global leader within logistics and they are looking for an experienced Analyst to join their marketing department.
The purpose of the job is to support the business with future business planning in terms of actual planning/forecasting, initiative set up, analysis associated to performance and all associated reporting development.
In addition to being involved with the analysis of the business, you will be a key member of staff who will then laise with the business units, ensuring they are using the information correctly, interpreting the reports and rolling out key projects to the business.
Working within an established team, key duties and responsibilities will include;

Business planning and analysis of the business for UK and Ireland(country volume & revenue plans, market sizing, market share, business plan presentation)
Report monthly volume and revenue variance analysis for UK and Ireland, Analyse and create volume and revenue forecasts for UK and Ireland areas
Creation and management of recurring measurement/data and reporting requests for the Marketing Department
Roll out key projects to the business, ensuring they understand the added value - working with sales, business development and account manager teams
Liase with business units, ensuring that reporting and key projects are effectively used by the business
Ensuring that divisions use reporting and other material correctly and understand the key benefits
Support the development of department-wide measurement processes that maximize the use of information and data
Liason with Department Heads for country marketing measurement in terms of guidance, training, idea generation, etc.
For this role candidates must have a undergraduate degree - ideally in business management, marketing, statistics, decision sciences, mathematics or computer science.
Strong analytical skills are essential and statistical methods and modelling are also an advantage.
It is essential that candidates hold strong communication skills and be confident interpreting the reports, be self-directed and team-oriented. You will be expected to liase with managers across the business, so you must be confident interpreting technical reports to managers of all levels.
