My client, a Protection and Indemnity insurer, is looking for a Part-time Payroll Administrator (28 hours per week) to join their growing team. This role, based in the Aldgate area, combines elements of both payroll and accounts duties as well as certain personnel tasks. Working in a team of three, this role reports into the Administrative Manager.

Main duties:


• Processing monthly payroll
• Arranging pension contributions
• Administration for the pension scheme
• Calculate VAT exemptions
• Processing year-end tax returns (P11d, PSA)
• Reconcile annuity payments
• Preparation of committee fees


Ideal candidate:


• Experience of double entry bookkeeping and payroll
• 4 years+ experience in a similar role
• Certificate in Personnel Practice : ideal
• Working knowledge of both MS Office and Payroll Software
