Credit Controller

Cameron James are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller for opportunities in the Yorkshire area. Typically the successful candidate will come from a similar position and will have relevant experience within a busy accountancy department.

The Candidate:

• Actively chasing outstanding debt through a variety of means including telephone, email and letters
• Able to produce aged debt reports and analyse the data produced to a high level
• Ability to renegotiate payment terms where applicable and secure outstanding funds in a timely and efficient manner
• Face to face client negotiations is essential
• Preparation of files for the commencement of legal proceedings
• Credit referencing client and allocation of potential funds where applicable
• Active analysis of customers debt risk
• Ideally educated to a degree level within a relevant discipline or studying toward AAT
• Advanced level of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook
