Job Information

I am currently working with an company based in Cambridgeshire who our looking to appoint an experienced HR & Payroll Assistant. The national based company is well established and the successful candidate will assist with all HR and Payroll duties.

The successful candidate will have worked within a similar position and ideally have experience of ADP.

This is an urgent position and the candidate will ideally be available within 2 weeks.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES


• Assist with the production of HR reports
• Co-ordinate learning and development activity
• Generally support the HR department with all other administrative duties.
• Responsible for processing the payroll, collating all information, entering into the Payroll system through to resolution of payroll queries.
• Dealing with all new starters, leavers and contract changes.
• Provide comprehensive HR advice to managers and employees on matters of company or HR policy, procedure, and protocol.
• Maintain accurate file-notes and regularly report updates to the HR Manager.
• Identify and communicate to the HR Manager, all and any areas of concern relating to HR issues.
• Under the instruction of the HR Manager, provide guidance and practical assistance to Line Managers in carrying out performance management tasks, such as Appraisals, Disciplinaries, Grievances, etc.
• Ensure all HR related correspondence is written and completed in a timely manner in accordance with current legislation and in line with the set procedures of the HR department.
• Maintain accurate employee paper and computerised records in accordance with HR departmental requirements and procedures, and in line with current legislation and company policy.
• Assist Managers in monitoring relevant employee attendance, absence and performance data and advise on any company procedures to address any matters of concern.
• Oversee Recruitment, On boarding, Induction and Training activity, in line with company and HR policies, procedures and protocol.
• Responsible for the production and communication of timely and accurate information to the Payroll department.
• Administer P11Ds P60’S etc.
• Issue payslips




SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


• Experience within a HR Administrator/ HR Assistant Role
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills and will be proficient at managing a significant and challenging workload and working to deadlines.
