Credit Controller - Part Time - 3 month FTC (with a vision of Perm) URGENT START

£15,000 - £20,000 - Pro rata

Cameron James are proud to be working with an integrated advertising agency in Leeds who are looking for some extra support for their over worked Credit Control department. This is a high paced position working in a challenging environment and chasing some of the UK's largest retailers for outstanding funds.

It is essential that the successful candidate comes from a Credit Control background and has previous experience in a high paced accountancy environment.

The Role:

• 20% adhoc finance assignments including invoicing and bank reconciliation when required
• 80% Credit control - chasing 8-10 large retailers
• Chasing outstanding debt between 30 days and 60 days over the phone and email
• Renegotiate payment terms only at very last resort (approval from FD required)
• Working alongside full time credit controller to reduce largest accounts outstanding debt


The Candidate:

• Previous experience within credit control is essential
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Confidence and ability to communicate at all levels both on email and telephone
• Proven experience of reducing debt would be advantageous
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of all accountancy and finance termanology
