Accounts Assistant - 12 month FTC (Mat cover)

Cameron James are working on behalf of a well known manufacturer who are looking urgently for an experienced Accounts Assistant who can come on board and hit the ground running while they are short staffed due to a maternity leave.

The successful candidates will need to have experience within a similar position, will have sales ledger and purchase ledger skills and will have used a form of Sage in the past, preferably Sage 200.

The Role:

• Responsible for the Sales and Purchase ledger
• Sales order invoicing, bank reconciliations
• Credit control
• Dealing with a high volume of invoices on a monthly basis
• General accounts support for the department


The Candidate:

• Must have experience with Sage as a system and be a proficient user of Excel
• Experience within a busy accounts department is essential
• Ability to work as a standalone professional
• Proven experience in Sales and Purchase ledger
• Must be able to start mid May latest
