Mortgage Underwriter/Mortgage Assessor - Manchester

A regionally known building society based in Manchester is looking to employ a team of mortgage underwriters and assessors due to an increase in mortgage applications which is due to continue rising. The ideal candidate will be as follows:

• Current or previous mortgage underwriting experience of at least 2 years
• Ability to work compliantly
• Working closely with mortgage advisors
• Understanding of mortgages and mortgage regulation
• Ability to make important and logical decisions
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Good time management skills




Due to the expansion of the team and growth in the business there is the potential for progression and full support is offered to help with development.

Basic salary of £17,500 - £21,000 dependant on experience. Full benefits package also available including pension and subsidised financial products.
