Job Information
My client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their Finance Team in Leyton. This role is a temporary 6 months role to cover maternity leave. You would be expected to ensure that the supplier/ purchase ledger is accurate and up to date and that all related financial processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.Main duties:
Sort and check incoming invoices
Inputting information into accounts systems (helping colleagues)
Resolve any invoice discrepancies and liaise with internal departments or suppliers as necessary
Prepare payments for suppliers ensuring accurate and timely payments
Check and reconcile supplier ledger
File invoices and statements
Manage petty cash - checking proof of expenditure and reimburse staff expenses as required
Ideal candidate:
Experience in finance and purchase ledger
Experience of Sage accounts systems or similar
Methodical approach to work
Ability to manage work load to meet deadlines
Good telephone skills
