Cameron James are working exclusively with a well established construction company based in Skipton who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy accounts team due to growth. The company are a multimillion pound turnover establishment with over 500 employees countrywide and therefore would require someone who is willing to learn, has proven experience in an Accounts team and dealing with Purchase ledger.

The Role:

• Coding, Matching and Batching
• Bank Reconcilliations
• Payment allocations
• Payment runs
• Update weekly cash book
• Processing a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency


The Candidate:

• Proven experience within a Finance team is essential
• Experience with purchase ledger and payment runs
• Ability to work on own initiative and in a small accounts team
• Ideally educated to a professional level
• Competent on Microsoft applications especially Excel, Word and Outlook
