I am currently recruiting for An experienced HR Business Partner to join a retail organisation in Northamptonshire for an initial 6 months.

The position is to support the Head of HR in the design and delivery of the HR strategy. To align the HR strategy with that of the Group and specific business units across the group.

The successful candidate will have experience of working a generalist “hands on” HR Management position within either the Retail, FMCG, Logistics or Distribution sector. This is a “fast paced” environment and the successful candidate will be expected to be seen on the “shop floor”.

This is an urgent position and requires someone who can start as soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES


• Apply HR expertise and commercial understanding to partner the business leadership.
• Provide trusted and expert advice and support on a range of HR issues such as reward, employee relations, talent, performance, organisation development/change, culture, leadership and learning and development
• Drive the talent plan for the business to build sustainable people capability
• Support the business leadership to build a performance culture, aligned to the Group Behaviours and Values
• Partner with HR operational and specialist colleagues to deliver a seamless HR service to the business
• Provide leadership on internal and external resourcing to attract and retain talent in the right place with the right skills, including direct involvement in senior and critical hires as required
• Ensure that the HR operational service is delivered successfully to the business.
• Work as part of a HR team to deliver a consistent HR service across geographies


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• CIPD or Similar
• HR Business Partner/Management experience
• Ability to analyse data to produce business insight
• Proven track record of managing stakeholders and strong relationship building approach
• Good understanding of all aspects of HR from an operational and transformational perspective
• Commercially astute
• Effective relationship builder with strong influencing skills, across a range of diverse stakeholders
• Self confident, with high integrity, willing to challenge appropriately
• Resilient, able to deal with organisational complexity and operate at pace
