I am currently recruiting for a market leader in the field for a Senior Credit Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small yet busy hands on team. Candidates must have previous experience working with Overseas customers


Reporting into the Financial Controller your duties will include:
• Chasing outstanding debt
• Dealing with legal and solicitors for unpaid debt
• Setting and managing credit limits and references checks
• Reducing debtor days
• Dealing with customers via email and telephone
• Liaising with the sales team and attending meetings
• Improving processes
• Issuing credit notes
• Valuing bad debt
• Resolving queries
• Monitoring collection rates
• Month end closing
• Calculating commissions for the sales team


There will be the occasional travel needed to London to meet with the sales team


Key skills include:
• Good telephone manner
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Strong communication skills
