My fast growing Property client is looking for a Lettings Account Manager based in ideally their Leeds office but could potentially look at candidates being based at their York office. This role has become available due to the client bringing their accounts in house - due to the systems used and the complexity of their accounts my client needs someone who has experience working within the property industry.

Your role will be a standalone position so you must be confident working in this kind of position and have the previous experience. Key duties will include:

• Creating an internal lettings accounts department
• Historical accounts transfer, data migration from one property software to another
• Processing rents
• Chasing outstanding debts, arrears and reducing money owed
• Releasing deposits
• Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Contractor payments and remittance advice statements
• Creating and sending out Landlord statements
• Dealing with accounting queries
• Liaising with lettings staff on daily basis
• Weekly reporting with fees breakdown, pipeline income, tenant and landlords fees
• Monthly reporting
• Collating weekly reports of refunds
